 Going to Florida December 6, 2021      About three weeks ago, my mom and dad discussed about going to Florida, but they really did not relay that information to me they had just mentioned it. About a week ago, my mom and dad told me we are going to Florida and I could invite a friend as well since my cousins will not be there. So I invited my best friend to come along. Every time my family and I have gone, we always go deep sea fishing. It is so much fun especially when you see sharks right next to your boat! If you have a fish on, it is going to fight back and it is not like any kind of fish from around here. All fish in the ocean have teeth. When a fish is on, you better be quick when reeling it in, or else a shark might get it.       The most recent time I went to Florida was not just for fishing, but a college visit. I found out I need surgery

 I found out I need surgery December 6, 2021       About two weeks ago, I went to the doctors office to see what was going on with my nose and this news was something I have heard before. When I was about 12 years old I had this surgery. The doctors took out my tonsils, adenoids, and this was the main procedure, a poll up  removal. Usually when you get the poll up removal done, it is unlikely it will come back, but of course it came back with me. The first time it blew up the right side of my face and my eye was swollen shut. It was like a balloon on one side of my face and the other side was completely fine. My family and I were very concerned with what had happened so we went to an ENT (ear, nose, and throat doctor) to see what was wrong.       I was scared to hear it the word poll up because I was so young and I did not understand what it meant at the time. Fantasy Football

 Fantasy Football Monday, December 6, 2021      This weekend, I won my 9th fantasy football game. It is an online app where you draft a team with some friends and at the beginning of the year you put money into the pot. The total this year is $240. There are 12 players and the buy in is $20. My overall record is 9-4 and I am a 100% chance to make the playoffs. I even got a first round bye so I do not have to worry about losing the first round of the playoffs. In the playoffs, there are 6 teams and the other 6 teams are eliminated. I have some of the top players in the game, such as, Justin Jefferson, Jamar Chase, CeeDee Lamb, and Travis Kelce.       My team puts up a lot of points every week and when your team can do that, it is going to be hard to lose. I am very excited to see what my team can do in the playoffs because it would be a great feeling being $240 richer! Relaxing Weekend

Monday, November 8, 2021 Relaxing Weekend          This weekend, I relaxed and watched college and professional football. Besides doing my regular things like hitting and working out for baseball, I lyed down in my bed and did absolutely nothing. This weekend I wanted to go out with friends and hangout, but I decided I needed this weekend to myself. Most of the time I am very overwhelmed with trying to balance things out, but this weekend I finally got a chance to really relax and mentally rejuvenate. I did not think about going to hit and workout after Friday because Saturday and Sunday I wanted to watch college and professional football. On Saturday I had to work the Notre Dame game, my job was fairly easy I just had to hold the door open in the suites and I got to watch the game as well. There was a television that had the Purdue University versus Michigan State University game and Purdue played great and defeated the number three ranked Michigan State Spartans.      During the Notr

 Halloween Weekend at Indiana University Monday, November 1, 2021 Halloween Weekend at Indiana University      On Friday, October 29th, 2021, I left with my best friend Sergio to Indiana University Bloomington for Halloween weekend. The drive down actually was not that bad, we just listened to music and talked the whole three hour drive. As soon as we got down there we met up with one of our buddies that we were staying with Justin. He is on the wakeboard team at Indiana University and he is a sophomore there. He actually went to Purdue University Northwest last year. When we got in his room, we set up the bed and made sure when we got home later that night we were already going to be ready for bed. We also played Mario on his Wii for a little while before we went out to the parties. Thursday, October 21, 2021  Making the Spring Baseball Team On Tuesday, October 19th, I had an exit meeting for fall baseball for Purdue University Northwest. It was a quick five minute meeting, but it had me on the balls of my feet. I was so anxious as to whether or not I had made the Spring baseball team. Coach Dave said he was only taking 35 for the whole Spring, but only 20-25 for the travel roster. When coach had called me in at 9:15 a.m. I was starting to get very nervous if I had made both the spring team and the travel roster. I was thinking to myself in a very positive way and I knew I could do it, but it was in coaches hands. Would he take me for both? Coach had started to speak and he asked me, "How do you think the fall went for you?"  I said, "I believe I had a pretty good fall, but I need to work on hitting still." Coach said, "I agree, you also need to work on bunting and maintain your speed." I agreed with coach and he then proceeded to say

Wednesday, October 13, 2021 Documentary Project Reflection Questions  1. Was there a specific scene that got to you? Describe and explain how it moved you (Angry? Curious? Delighted? Motivated?). Give a lot of detail, and really dive in to how it affected you. Don’t hold back.  --The scene that had got to me the most was when they had a beautiful coral reef and then they transitioned it to a dying coral reef. I loved seeing the colors of the coral reef and then they switched it to a dying coral reef really got to me most. I am hoping these scientists are able to help save the coral reef because the wildlife need it and we need it. The coral reef is a home for these animals and it helps the people as well because the people fish and need to get food to live as well. The climate change is also a big factor in the coral reef dying and we need to find ways to save the reef.   2. What surprised you?
